January Meditation Challenge Day 3: Guided Morning Meditation

One of the beautiful things about going to a meditation class is knowing that you’re not alone. While you’re meditating, you’re surrounded by others doing the same meditation as you, transforming what is at heart a solitary practice into a group experience. 

When you’re in a class, you also have the reassurance of someone else holding space for you, so all you have to do is relax and go with the flow of whatever meditation you’re doing. This is why there are times when I love putting on a guided meditation and have someone else support me in the process. While I love chanting and dancing and mantra and mindfulness, there’s also something rather special about letting someone else lead the way. 

This meditation is a particular favourite of mine. Davidji is an excellent facilitator (and I highly recommend you check out his other material!) Not only does it combine a number of my favourite methods, it’s the perfect way to start the day.
